  • Before being a Project Manager, what did you do?

Before I worked as a project engineer, quality engineer for manufacturing companies and service companies. My last position before Imagine was as a plant and production manager for a Japanese company.

  • Why did you decide to switch to an IT profession?

I decided to change to an IT profession because I believe that the biggest challenges currently lie in the entire technological part. While manufacturing is somewhat stable, I believe that the world of technology and development that is taking shape today is going to be much bigger in the future.

  • How and when did you learn to do a project?

Since my degree I have always had experience in project engineering. I had my first school with Corona Colcerámica, one of the largest companies nationwide, where I performed all the monitoring and traceability issues for projects. In addition, I was trained with university issues and experience. I also did a specialization in projects and day-to-day work and different tools that are presented to one, one is forging as a PM.

  • What tools do you currently use?

Currently, we use Jira a lot for the entire work plan, functions, task delegation, project integration, both development and functionality. Additionally, I know tools like Project, where I also had performance. Clearly, all office automation parts are essential for one to be able to perform well as a PM.

  • What is your current position?

My current position is Project Management. My functions are the monitoring and traceability of projects at a national and international level, the assignment of tasks, the continuous communication with clients and the control of the project as an administrative part.

  • What have been the main challenges of the process?

One of these has been to change from a manufacturing part where everything is production and everything is from now to there, to change something that has to go through different stages, from the backend to the frontend, the design, quality tests, which will surely Processes are assimilated with production issues, but in their actual moment they are very different.
